I put on a Rinehart 2-1 and I will not get my tuner for a couple of weeks. I am running the stock intake setup. My question is, will it be safe to ride my bike till I get my tuner installed?

Thanks in advance!

general consensus here is that the USA run kinda lean from the factory to meet EPA guidelines, and the international models are even leaner.
If it were my bike, I would not run it with aftermarket pipes & high flow air filter until I had the tuner installed.
Do I think your bike will spontaneously combust? NO
Do I think this nearly bulletproof engine will have a meltdown? NO
But this is your bike and it will be your money if something were to happen.

Thanks for the responses. I will wait for some more input before I make up my mind. I usually don't go above 5-6k in my normal 15 mi commute. I guess I could stay conservative to save the engine.

Just remember whose wallet get lightened if you run without a tune and damage your engine. The guys on this forum that say you can get away with it won't help with the financial aspects of this decision.
