Do you have the full system or the slip on? Take a look at the pictures on the V&H web site. The slip on sits much higher on the bike and crosses in front of the right side engine mount. This mount needs to be changed out and the foot peg attaches /sticks out where the lower bolt is on the mount. I'm talking about the stock Harley mid peg mounts not after market. If you have this type it's a no go. If you have the full exhaust which starts at the cylinder head, this style sits much lower on the bike and is not in the way. Hope this helps. Here is a link to V&H too. http://www.vanceandhines.com/store/vrsc/fullsystems/75-106-9
If you're speaking of the HD mid pegs, check the VH website and see if they offer the pipe for either the D or R models which use those pegs. If they do then it's a good bet they'll work, if not then it's anyones guess.
I've done a lot of research into switching mid-mount controls to forward on my VRSCD, have been to numerous dealers and custom shops and have talked to the mechanics who've switched the controls to forward controls and the general consensus is that it just isn't worth it. The process is rather complicated and very timely (5+ hours labour) and requires lots of small modifications and adjustments to complete. Again, it is possible, just a very difficult and costly process.

I currently have two (and a half) sets of tins for the D:
- The blue ones she came with

..as well as a spare 2-tone gloss/matt black airbus cover.
I'd like to change the colour - spray up one or other set, as I'm not really enamoured by either of the two. No...
I have read that the 2007 vrscd has a wider frame that the 2006. This is to allow for the larger gas tank and that the rear wheel is spaced to fit in. Is it also wider so that frame/swing arm can except the wider rim for the 240-rear tire? I have a 2008 VRSCD on order another week or two till I...
Looking for help on this Mod.
The Ferrule sits on the rod and has a "Set Screw" holding it to the Rod. Need to remove it - drill it through and put it back on inverted to change the brake position.
