I have an 02 Vrod - it has been converted to a road rod bagger, the exhaust was changed with Samson Long Cannons. Right where the header pipe connects to the mufflers, it is leaking exhaust, I have tried moving the clamp - no luck, and I bought a new clamp, no luck.(one frome the harley dealer for 40.00 - no luck.. Any suggestions? the pipes do not appear oblong, or anything.. thanks!

Use some aluminum tape and a copper gasket sealer compound. I did that with my fat shots and don't have an exhaust leak anymore.

ok.. this wont burn off? where do you suggest I get that?

Mine didn't burn off, I used aluminum tape. The glue in the tape probably burned off but alumnimum stayed and got sealed with the clamps. The sealer didn't burn off I think.

It will be hard to put the slip on's on once you apply all that stuff, but just squeeze them on, it will be a very tight fit.
