Note: This is the standard for all Harley-Davidson Motorcycles
1. Change engine oil & filter.
2. Inspect air cleaner and service as required.
3. Change tappet oil screen.*
4. Change primary chaincase lubricant and clean magnetic drain plug.
5. Check/adjust primary chain.
6. Check clutch adjustment.
7. Change transmission lubricant and clean the magnetic drain plug.
8. Check and adjust belt.
9. Lube the foot shift/brake lever bearings* and speedometer cable.*
10.Check rear brake pedal adjustment.
11. Inspect brake pads and discs for wear.
12. Check brake fluid reservoir levels and condition.
13. Inspect oil lines and brake systems for leaks.
14. Lubricate the front brake hand lever, throttle control cables, throttle, clutch control cable and hand lever and jiffy stand.
15. Lubricate Springer steering head bearings.*
16. Check, adjust operation of enrichener.*
17. Inspect fuel valve*, lines and fittings for leaks.
18. Clean fuel tank filter screen (carb. only).
19. Check operation of all electrical equipment and switches.
20. Check battery electrolyte level and clean connections.
21. Change spark plugs.
22. Check tire pressure and inspect tread.
23. Check wheel spoke tightness.*
24. Repack wheel bearings with grease.
25. Inspect, adjust, repack front fork bearing.
26. Change front fork oil.*
27. Repack rear fork bearings.*
28. Adjust Springer rocker bearings.*
29. Check condition of rear shock absorbers.
30. Check air suspension -- pressure, operation and leakage.*
31. Check stabilizer links* and engine mounts.
32. Check tightness of all fasteners except engine head bolts.
33. Lubricate hinges, latches -- fuel door, Tour-Pak, saddlebags.*
34. Check ignition timing and vacuum hose.*
35. Check engine idle speed adjustment.
36. Road test.
