Engine Guard Installation
Does anyone have install instructions for a 2012 vrscdx. I have searched around and it seems like most links are not functioning anymore.

I need a help.
I have a 2017 vrod muscle, i purchased a crash bar/ engine guard from ebay but it was not compatible though it was showing that it can be installed on a VROD muscle 2017 and i had to return it and get a refund.
please could you advise, where i can find a good quality crash bar that is tested and can fit my bike ? kindly share with me some photos if possible

so far, i was able to find on ebay for the 2017 VROD, i bought it but it didn't fit properly. i have returned it because it was made to fit up to 2014 model.

There is no difference on those model years. There might be a difference between the DX and Muscle due to the rad fairings but frames are identical. 2012-2017 are exactly the same for sure on the mounting points. Was this a genuine HD bar or something else?hello guys

i tried with more than 10 different dealers for harley davidson in different countries with no chance...i wanted to install a Genuine product but unfortunately it was not available. i had no chance but to buy it from Ebay.
please check the attached picture of the item i bought...the garage who tried to fix it said "it's not compatible"

Def a China knock off so dimensionally could be all over the place. As for instructions, hell the original HD pdf seems to have vanished from the internet. I did find this copy of it which should help, at least as far as install.Hello Ron,

I have a real deal/HD branded chrome engine guard from an F on my floor. My bike is an 09, but I believe it fits all years of the Muscle. If so I am happy to sell it.
