Engine cutting out
I noticed today that my engine has started cutting out if I am accelerating hard. It seems to be missing at 4000 rpm or there abouts. I am still in the break in period, I have about 400 miles on it, so I am limited to 5000 rpm. Any suggestions? I am probably going to talk to my dealer this week, but thought I would see if you folks had any suggestions first. I do have Samson Short Slasher exhaust, could the flash the dealer did when he changed the pipes have anything to do with this problem? I'm considering going back to the stock pipes after some of the comments on here about Samson products, but I do love the sound.

If your coils are ok,then try either the RT,PC,Techlusion.I don't think the HD flash adds enough fuel for the rineharts.you might have an AFR condition in that rpm range.Do you have the equal length velocity stacks?If not get the short one for the front.
Took my bike to the dealer last week and let them try it. The tech seemed to think it may just be temperature related. They want me to keep riding and see if it works itself out when the weather warms up. I rode it last weekend when it was in the upper 60's and it didn't act up, so they may be right. If it doesn't correct itself they said to get a race tuner.
