had that issue with my warrior found a wire that had a tiny bare spot and sometimes it would ground out took more the 12 hours to find it. also check all plugs
Check all the grounds and the plug in the back of the IM. Not unusual to have bad connection there, especially if bike has been washed.Looking for advice/help of what this issue may be...
2008 VRSCAW with 55k miles. Yesterday my gauges and turn signals quit working though the bike was still running. Fuel gauge dropped to "E" and low fuel warning light came on. So I shut the bike off and restarted it and everything was fine. I got home and shut the bike down and restarted it to ensure it was an isolated case; it wasn't. I tried several more times but can't get my fuel gauge and turn signals to work (though they blink when the alarm sets). I have checked all fuses, battery, and chased my wires looking for a bad ground but found nothing.
Has anyone else had this issue and what did you find as the fault?
Thank you in advance...
I would double check your ACCY fuse also as this is feeding the things you say are not working. Make sure you have 12v on the Orange/white wire coming from the fuse. You could check to see if your brake lights and horn work also, that would confirm fuse and wire is ok.Looking for advice/help of what this issue may be...
