My old instrument cluster got some moisture in through one of the bottom bolts and died. Bought a new (used) one but this piece has the ABS indicator and it is now on all the time. My bike is a -06 VRSCD and it doesn't have ABS. It's not a big deal but I would rather have it off.

Does anyone know how to disable the ABS light or do I have to open the new cluster and grab a soldering iron?

Welcome!

Had a lot gauges open putting my led board in and noticed the ABS led is there, or not placed. never realized a abs led equipped gauge would light up on a non abs bike because the data is missing or pre-07.. I think taking one lead of the led off is the simplest. no harm if all remains
Ifd you want to open up for it there is a manual on my 'products' page that gives you an idea what's involved. you also need a special tool bit for the 5 point security torx in the back but if your handy you can get a flat blade fitted.

I have not found any supplier in Europe yet but >here< are a few in the US.

Here's the post with the boards
You could consider putting a board in in the same go when you order the tool. Or i can put it in here for you and disable the led in the same go... done more from Finland. wide smile guaranteed :D

Hei.
Save Your money..:
Pry/break off that little tab in the Torx and use a small flatbladed screwdriver
to get them out.. Use some Phillips when assembling.
And YES, get a LED-plate from DUTCHROD; You will not regret! Many of us here
have got it and I think no one have regret it a second!
