so after several searches I am unable to find anyone actually running the 2-1 fat cats from D&D. I really like the way the pipe seems to open up the back wheel. the slimmer look is great, and the performance increase sounds good. so i'm torn between the D&D's and CFR. any opinions or other suggestions are welcome

I'm running a D&D 2 into 1, made massive improvements in the Torque Department but damn they are loud. She has a great cracking sound between gears, others know you are coming.

Thinking of going back to my D&D slip on's since they a lot quiter. Maybe after Labor day, have a race planned with my Uncle who just installed a 124ci in his softail, just want extra added torque to give him a run for his money.

If sound is not a factor in your community, this is a great pipe, you'll need a fuel management system, going from one exhaust to another I had to add a bunch more fuel.

I think I have a pic in my profile? Haven't been in there lately to look if not I'll try and up load one?

Aloha

hey thanks for the reply. I guess there isn't really anyone running them on the R yet. hopefully I'll get more feedback in a few months after they've been around a little longer.

just put the black fat cat on my R, went topless K&N with the pc 111. bike should be dyno-tuned next week sometime. it is definitely loud in the shop. i liked the look of the fat cat better than the cfr, but everyboby likes something different. mine is the second D&D fat cat they have installed on an R model this summer, the other rider loves his. local custom bike shop, not a HD dealer doing the work.
