Most of us. We've handled it differently. Some strip and polish, then keep after it. Some strip and paint or powder coat. I stripped mine, pulled the tube assemblies out of the trees, masked them, took them to the local Line-X and had them sprayed with black Line-X. Resists rock chips and no longer tarnishes, but then I have "B" model with black frame and engine accents so it blends with the color scheme. Wouldn't look quite as good on an "A" model
they buff up nicely with a decent polishing wheel and alloy cutting bar.no need to strip coating first ,just need the propper gear.if you havent the gear take them to a chrome shop and get them polished.
