A European (in my case UK) DX will have a catalytic converter somewhere in the stock thermos exhausts. This will steal about 5HP.

I am having the V&H 2 into 1 fitted which won't (?) have the catalytic converter. I'm also having the Fuelpak installed. According to the V&H website I should get an extra 10HP.

So, 5 + 10 = 15HP.

Or am I missing something?

lol... I wish all mods worked that way. Here's a rule of thumb....

N=Number of mods
HP1=HP gain mod 1
HP2=HP gain mod 2
HP3.....etc

Gain = 1/N(HP1+HP2+...+HPn)
Gain = 1/2(5+10)
Gain = 7.5

Some of the dyno claims I've seen led me to believe that formula would involve factorials... :angeldev:

The cat on your bike is in the mid section of the exhaust. If you take your mufflers off and look inside the two holes that are exposed when you remove the mufflers you will see honeycomb cat.
