Hey everyone,

I'm planning on utting on a set of corbin beetlebags on my bike since I do alot of commuting and usually have a bag on my bike anyways.

I do have a question though. Is the stock suspension adequate enough to run with the bags and a passenger? Or should I wait to put new shocks on first then the bags?

I've already been seriously thinking of going with a set of arnotts, but wont have the money for both right away.

Just trying to look ahead and plan out the mods since I've been delayed in getting the bike a lil thanks to life.

I appreciate the feedback.

Stock suspension is fine. My Dad ran his like that for years until I upgraded it to Arnott's.

Plus, the Beetlebags are off in a minute if you want to change the stock setting or replace them.

With gear on the rear, anything usually in the neighborhood of 20-30 lbs I run the stock shocks at never less than the fourth preload position. If loading for a trip then the fifth.
Third bottoms too easily and second is too soft even solo.
