Has anyone used a CO2 cartridge to power the air shifter since space is so limited on the vrod? If not that who/what has smallest bottle and regulator that might fit in one of the small frame bags next to fuel cell? I tried one of the Pingel electric shifters and could never get it to function consistently. A friend that races a lot commented that was the reason they never seen on serious race bikes. That his observation and my experience supports it.Thanks for any help!

Just throwing this out, but would one of those little bitty bottles that is used to air up flat tires work? I've got a couple with a tire repair kit.

That what I asking about. Has anyone made an air shifter using the paint ball or bike tire filler cartridges?

Use your swing arm as the tank. Weld up the holes and pressure test it. Old school Vrod racing trick.

My swing arm has been powder coated black but that may be winter project. Have seen this on a lotta extended arm sport bikes.
