Anytime I roll the bike forward and hit the front brakes and then roll it backwards and hit the front brakes they make a clunk. Almost Luke the pads are shifting inside the calipers. This normal?

Are you sure its from the brakes and not the neck like mentioned? My bike does this at the next only under extremely hard sudden breaking or rough bumps. Its getting ready to go in for 20k check, going to have them check the neck...

I'm positive its the bake the sound is too low and the neck was all just rebuilt brand new bearings in it.

Yes it's common, at least with the early HD brake models. Mine does it all the time. Slop in the pin hole size but it happens exactly like you said. They still work fine, don't worry about it.
And NO it's not the head bearings, you have accurately diagnosed and described the symptom.

Thanks very much for confirming that for me rc4man. Mine is an 08 and just broke 2k miles bought it last October with 600 miles on it.
