After a lot of grinding & trimming I finally finished installing the chrome rad cover & the inner fender mud guard. There is still some candy to be put on the rad cover but I thought I would show you what it looks like in chrome before we take it off to finish it.

Still have the chrome dog’s a$$, fuel tank & rear brake reservoir to install & we are hoping to get them on in about a week. I will post some pics of them installed when I am done.

Thanks for the nice comments. We took a lot of chances with trying new things but so far it's turning out better than I thought it would. I'm anxious to see it completed, it's been over a year and I expect it will be at least another 6 months before it's finished. Yeah I know it's never finished.

Thanks Max for adding them to the gallery. Vrod-tlam, the chrome finish is actually quite thick (it is not a spray chrome) but there will be a 3M clear protective film applied to it once it is done that will take care of the rock chips. The film is replaceable once it gets ratty looking.

The chrome fuel cell has not been installed yet. Prior to installation we are going to paint certain areas of the fuel cell & leave other areas of the fuel cell in chrome. The painted finish on the fuel cell in the pictures are the carbon fiber covers available from Breathless that were painted to match the bike. We needed a quick solution as the chrome fuel cell wasn't going to arrive in time for a show we were displaying the bike in. I posted a thread some time ago on the painted fuel cell covers with better pic's, if you do a search you will find it.
