Just got a stock chromed rear sprocket on eBay. While the overall chrome quality appears to be good the area where the belt contacts the sprocket, especially the sides, are rough and unsightly. I looked at my stock one still on the bike and it looks like the sides may still be visible when installed.

Whoever has gotten theirs chromed or bought one already chromed (either eBay, V-mod, Ozzy, etc.): does it look the same and is it visible when installed? Also, is there any danger to the belt from the rough sides?

I doubt that would chew the belt up... Belts are pretty tough.

But the chrome job looks like crap!

This camera is much smarter than I am. Sorry. Mine is smooth. I bought it used. I think it's Harley.
Thanks for the pic anyway. Switching to macro mode should be really easy, check the manual. It will help a lot for close-up shots.

As far as the sprocket goes the Harley one has narrow cut outs. If it looks just like the stock one but chromed it's definetly aftermarket, HD doesn't make one like that.
