I think I saw a post a while back about chrome clutch & brake controls which were selling on e-bay by "evoman". I believe the post writer stated that his/her products were exactly as described and complete. It seems this person as an endless supply of these items because when one auction ends, the same items & pictures are up again on a new auction. Is this person legit?? If anyone has purchased these items from this person recently, please respond.....If this is legit, the prices are really good on the items offered...Thanks ......

Check his buyers write up about his products. If in doubt, e-mail some of the buyers to see what they say about what they got. Many of those people who sell like that are people connected witht he industry in some way, and are legit. Then the one or 2 bad ones, who underperform or just rip-off can scare anyone. But then, their write ups should reflect their scam too.

I got a set of controls from evoman and his parts are 1st rate!

I also bought a set from him. The brake controls and levers are 1st rate like VrodG says. I couldn't find anything but some minor, minor dings that were in them when they were chromed. They are as good as the ones I bought for my Ultra and paid much more for from Chicago HD. They are well worth what they are going for. They sell for $300 to $350 depending on the bidding. He did have them at $350 for buy it now.

I also bought a set of front brake calipers from him. They were not as good as the brake controls. They had some flaws in the chrome, but when they are installed you can not see them. For the money they are okay but they are not perfect as he describes (brake calipers not the brake controls).

i also bought a set from him, look good, as described, complete, and quick shipping. the chuome bolts were not included.
