Can someone explain how hard it would be to chase a thread on aluminum that has been chromed? What tools and skills are necessary to do this? I am wanting to get a chrome swingarm but the threads are not chased and I need to judge how hard this is to do. Thanks!

All you need is a tap the size the threads are and a wrench or socket that fits the tap. The downside is that if they didn't seal the threads off before they chromed it that you might break the chrome around the hole when you try to run the tap through it.
