does anyone know if i can put a power commander IIIr on my 2005 vrsca? the pciiir was made for 2002-2004. the pciiiusb was introduced at the end of 2004....which is why im thinking it should work on 2002-2006 vrods. instead of a usb connection it has a serial port. the pciiiusb is made for 2002-2006. dynomax told me the ecm's were changed in 2005. if they where changed wouldent the pciiiusb be sold as 2002-2004.....2005-2006....2007- etc etc with each set of model years with a different part number?(however the pciiusb is sold for 2002-2006 same part number) when the pciiir(serial port) changed to pciii(usb) is the only difference one hooks up with usb and the other hooks up with serial port or is there major changes within the box itself? i have it hooked up to my bike and everything fits together fine.....but the damn thing wont start...am i just doing something wrong? is there a bad map loaded on it? if i load a different map on it will it work?
