I have devoloped a cover leak on the bottom of the cover on the cam chain side. Has anyone else experienced this situation. I know I will have to replace the gasket. Use the stock HD gasket or can anyone reccomend a better sealing process.

CW-VRod that is the approximate location that Jeannie's leaked at, near were the wires pass through. The oil would then run around the seam and drip from below the cover.

Yeah thats where mine is about leaking from too. Its not enough to leak on the floor but the wind does make it run across the chrome. I plan on taking it in at my next oil change for that.
Was it an easy fix? or am i looking at an ongoing leak issue?

The oil leak coming from the wire hole is from the ign.stator seal leaking. The stator and the seal is one piece. It is covered under factory warranty. If you have the repair done at a Harley dealer take any chrome bolt covers off.The dealer I went to ripped mine off with pliers and told me tuffshit when I wanted them replaced.
