Is it possible to take the Brembo calipers from a later model an put them on my 04 VRSCB without any modification? I am hoping it is a straight swap. They seem to be all over ebay these days.:lamer:

I just did this. There are mixed thoughts on it. I swapped everything levers resivoirs lines all that good stuff. Your rear axle size is different so you will need to have a steel bushing made.

The rotors will need to be changed. If doing the rear make sure the one you buy is for the V-rod because there is a difference between the V-rod rear caliper and the touring rear caliper (I believe it is mostly the tabs for the screen cover which the touring bikes do not have because it is covered by the saddle bag). A few of us have changed over on the older bikes and used our original DOT 5 reservoirs with no problems. The key is to flush the new calipers with denatured alcohol to remove all the DOT 4 and then flush DOT 5 through them and then bleed with DOT 5. Good luck.
