I love my 2006 a with Vance and Hines on it runs and sounds perfect air box mod dynoed set up really nice. 7800 miles. I would like a new set of Wheels and that fat tire looks good. That's about three or four thousand depending upon how you do it. I found a really nice 2010 for $8000 with 12000 miles on it Vance and Hines 2 into 1. That year has nice wheels and the fat tire. is it worth it to move to the 2010? I would also be getting the bigger motor but with the Fat Tire it's a wash on power. Also my 180 Tire handles really well I wouldn't want to lose much of that although my ridding style is high speed straight and swoops. Not much in the curve Department.

Do both! Buy the 2010 and keep the 06.

I have a 2007 now with the wide rear tire and also owned an 04 with the 180. To be honest I don't see any difference in handling between the two. Also I love how the 240 looks from the back.
