Hi -
Looking for help on this Mod.

The Ferrule sits on the rod and has a "Set Screw" holding it to the Rod. Need to remove it - drill it through and put it back on inverted to change the brake position.

Anyone know what the set screw is ? Small Allen Wrench?

I'm confused because I can see the screw hole, but in one post it says "Just unscrew it?"
I assume that means after the set screw has been loosened.

I tried a couple of small slotted screw drivers but I am not catching the set screw. Hard to see in there. Going back with a set of small allen wrenches.

"On top of the rod which operates the master
cylinder is a small ferrule (cylinder) which screws on to the master
cylinder rod. ** Unscrew it "

Sorry - I found it .
Remove the "allenhead" grub screw from the ferrule that is attached to the brake cylinder rod. the ferrule should now come off the rod of the brake cylinder.

Thx

Thanks for your input.

I just looked at it and I think the PO stripped it.
It's rounded off in there..
I will have to drill it out and tap and new set screw hole.
A little beyond my tools/skills, considering the importance of it being totally tight.

I think I am going to punt - I found the matching brake pedal online ($60.00)
Going to heat the pedal and bend it down.
Keep the original pedal as a backup.
After 13 years that ferrule set screw is definitely "set"

Thoughts?
Thx

Follow up.
bought an extra R brake pedal. metal shop bent it down.
excellent-right foot can sit good on right peg pointing down a little, not turned out, no dragging brake
easier to use F&R brakes together

Yes. For a lot of us (I'm 6 feet tall) I had to point my right foot out or I would push down and drag the Rear Brake Pedal (mid Controls). I wanted to able to put my right foot pointed straight and toes down a little to get good control.
You can pull the pedal off and if you can loosen a screw on the ferrel drill a hole in it and invert it.
Mine was seized and I did not want to break it.
So I just slipped it off.
Bought a 2nd pedal and had it bent down some. It could be cut and welded too
