I bought a brake light modulator but I'm having a issue of taking the brake light off of my f. I see the allen screws on the left and right side but what else am I missing to take this light off?

What exactly are you trying to do?
I have had the rear fender off and had the light out, but just curious what you are trying to do.
Basically, if you are going to work on the light, you will have to remove the rear fender.

I bought a brake light modulator and just need to disconnect the harness from the brake light and plug the modulator in and then reconnect the brake light.

This is the brake light modulator I bought from Kisan Electronics, it was the 100hd model.

I purchased it from http://www.heavycycles.com/ he is a member here and he made a harness for the modulator so that the unit is plug and play and no splicing wires at all.

After thinking about it and looking at the wiring while adjusting my thundermax, I realized I didn't need to remove my tail light after all. The wires I needed were right next to my ecu and took all of a minute to install, since it was all plug n play. After it was all connected it works great.

T-Roll,
Thanks for the great insight.

I could not find Kisan's 100HD listed in Heavy Cycles. Did you buy just the harness from Heavy Cycles, or does Heavy Cycles have the 100HD and it comes together with harness? Would it make any difference if I buy the 100HD direct from Kisan?

I have the Kisan high beam flasher, but installed a 3rd brake light flasher to the tail light ($16). saved about $90. ;)
