I am trimming my dogs a$$ to clean up my back end. What is the best way to "modify" my plastic. Hacksaw, Dremel, etc.

Dremmel !!

I did mine without any effort........a bit messy and you could smell the pastic burning as it was cutting. I used a cut off wheel which worked well but i did go thru a few of them. Felt i had more control with the wheel than the cutter that looks like a drill bit (IMO).
At the end....did some clean up with a file and sandpaper.
Looks great!

Use a bandsaw, works great, cuts smooth. (Of course you have to take it off the bike first) :) Use a straightedge for a guide or draw a line along the cut-path.
