The fork springs on my bike have gone soft. 03A with 16k miles. I am looking for an upgrade in the stock suspension using drop in springs and SE fork oil. Doesn't appear to be leaking at any seals. I have searched and read many threads. I weigh 225 lbs. any recommendations from the experienced crowd. Thanks in advance for your time/help.

Progressive.

Best $100 I've spent on my Vrod.

Trivially easy to install.

No more brake dive, much better handling, and takes the bumps in stride.

I debated (I'm around 175) and from my reading, became convinced the HD were overkill unless you're riding 2-up all the time.

Went with standard, no regrets.

At least, that's my memory of how it went.

I installed the standard Progressive springs on my 03A filled with Amsoil medium #10 suspension fluid. The lowers were powder coated while they were apart due to the fact they were looking shabby. Used the directions found on this site. Easy to do. -Kevin
