just looking to see what people are suggesting for batteries, as mine just died(oem from 2014 vrscf) and is needing to be replaced.

TIA

OEM and a trickle charger. Seriously, I've got the original 2009 battery in mine still ticking. I have it on a trickle charger in the shop when not in use always.

You CAN spend a ton more on a lightweight lithium battery, but you also have to spend more on a specific trickle charger. I thought I read they suck for cold weather as well (someone with experience with said batteries I'm sure will chime in).

I've got an Antigravity ATX12-20 lithium ion phosphate (660 cca LiFePO4) on my F. Far lighter than the oem battery, which isn't a bad thing considering how high up on the bike the battery sits. I'm using an Optimate TM-471 charger with it and an Optimate SAE battery to charger cable that goes from the battery to just above the radiator mount.

I live in Colorado and haven't had any issues with starting in cold weather.
