Thinking about going to Street Vibrations in Reno in September. Is this event similar to the Laughlin River Run? What part of town does the event take place. Do they have a lot of vendors in the hotel parking lots like in Laughlin?

Thanks for any info.

I have been going to Street Vibrations for the last 6 or 7 years and always have a good time. I have been to Laughlin the last couple of years and I feel Street Vib's is better. The main event is downtown on Virginia Street and there are a bunch of vendors there. The thing I like about Street Vib's is the riding. There are a multitude of areas to ride. Lake Tahoe is 45 minutes away and there is always the run up to Virginia City on Saturday. You could spend all day up there watching the action.

The only complaint I have about Street Vib's is that it seems to end pretty early in the evening. They kick all the bikes off the street's downtown around 9 PM. We are always looking for something to do after 9 PM where Laughlin goes on late. Come on down for the event. I am sure you will enjoy yourself.

Street Vibrations is great. Virginia City is a tiny little old west town that gets so overun with bikes that it's difficult to find parking. In Reno there are a ton of vendors on the streets between the casinos. If you're planning on coming down, send me a PM and we'll meet up. You should come the weekend before and catch the Air Races also!
