I'm no expert so I would like some other opinions on the following info.
Pipe Temp & Airbox Pumping
Pipe Temp and Airbox Pumping By Kevin Cameron ... done on new cars and motorcycles, snowmobile
airboxes ... pipe temperature, I do not mean exhaust gas temperature, or ...
www.snowtechmagazine.com/articles/pipetemp/piptemp.html

I know some of this applies to high performance two strokes. Can any one find equivelant info. relevent to our v-rods.
Has anyone done any dyno testing with air box inlet snorkle diameters and lengths.
I currently run topless but now Iwonder if there is a better way.

The v-rod has an IAT sensor.that readsthe temp of the air going into the engine. If that is what you are referring to.

Forget about the pipe temp part of the article, it's meaniningless on our 4 stroke bikes.

As for the tuned intake, that's exactly what we have, it's called velocity stacks ;)

There's a ton of posts on airbox mods. I'm guessing that if there was something better than topless Harley would have already built it and they would be selling to us for $$$$$$ :)
