I was switching my handle grips and stripped out the top screw on the throttle side switch housing. :hmm:
I have a tap and die set, but what is the best way to fix this?
anyone have any similar experiences and what was your fix?

I would try to clean up the thread as much as possible with a tap. If the threads are damaged beyond a quick refreshening with a tap, it's time for either a heli-coil or a time-sert. Don't worry -- it happens all the time and it's a good place for it to happen because it's relatively easy to get the switch housing completely off of the bike and into a vise where you can really work on it.
