5K Service Questions

I bought my 03 used. All services were done by HD to that point. In my almost two years on this site, I've strayed from taking it to the stealer, and have done oil changes and little things myself. There is always someone around that can help you either on this site or in your area with a V. I am like Combats, I won't take it into them again until my valve lash is due at 20-25k.
