I have what appears to be an early Dobeck style tuner on my 03 model. Bought it that way. It only has 3 pots. Does anyone have experience with the 3 pot tuners? If so, what settings were used? I am currently running a stock download, drilled exhaust and K&N (with the top). settings are 4:00, 7:00 and 3:30. It is running good, but mileage seems to suck.
I idled the motor up to 2K rpm and set the 1st pot to where it increased rpm the most (at 4). If I back off from that it drops slightly. Should I leave it there and try to keep my wrist out of it or can I back off some for better mileage? I am paranoid about backing off and running lean, guess I need a little reassurance......thanks for any help.

Oh well.......I went ahead and vmodded the exhaust. I have researched and well go at it on my own...
