I am still favoring the black denim. As the name "Nightrod" implies, this bike should be a dark color. Don't think, HD will do good with the brighter color schemes. I would not have bought the DX, if it wasn't available in black. What is your favorite new color scheme on the VRSCDX?

Agreed. The Nightrod Special should only come in black. Period.
Go to key features, and go to about page 3. The flames are actually in the racing stripes. I dont know if I like that or not. Seems overdone.I'll have to reserve judgement until I see what the definition of "Ghost Flames" is ...
I read Ghost Flames and I picture the lameness that Harley usually mixes with their flame work ... nothing about it sounds good
IMO that yellow and orange are horrible ... but what do I know ... hah
:them:Still like the black the best but the orange and Yellow look pretty good.
Why will it take a lot of custom work?Flat black is cheap,99 cents a can where I buy it.Shouldn't take more than 2 cans to denim one up for ya.IMO, they gave the DX line one big F U. The best color is denim/black stripes and they havent offered it in two years now. What in gods name kind of sales tactic is that? Go find a used one?
The 11 DX colors are shit, and if I can see alot of custom tin work being done to rid of them.
