Has anyone been able to make these work for their 2009?

They are made for the 02-06 V rod HD#91788-04

Mounting bracket would need to be extended for the 240 tire/fender.

Let me know if any of you made these work. I want them on my 09. I'm sure I could make them fit with modifying the brackets somehow.

The 2009 rear fender is wider than 2006 models.
Try a Muscle/F or AW mounting bracket,then fabricate attachments for the bags?
