Hi, I'm new to the forum and to the V-rod world. I own a 2004 V-rod that has been in storage for 7 months and I'm about to go pick it up in two months. I was wondering what do I need to do to it before I start her up? This is my first bike and I don't know much about the mechanics of it. I know a good bit about car if that helps any. I have also read on this site about all of the kinks that V-rods have like the battery which I have already encountered. The bike is still under warrenty and has never been riden if that helps any either.

Welcome and as far as the other stuff. Just make sure you got a good battery. Not much else to worry about. I have had my car stored for a year at a time when i went to Iraq. When I got back, I just got in it and drove. No problems with it. Check all the fluids and fill it back up with good fuel ASAP!
