I have a 2003 vrod and im looking for approximately 50-75 more HP to the rear wheel. The bike is stock right now. The only thing I have is a 200 Metzler on the rear wheel, Reinhart dual exhaust with a power commander and a shit load of chrome. I cant decide whether to go turbo or super charger. I want to be able to ride the bike on the street at anytime and go for rides so I need it to be dependable as well. Pretty much Im looking for a sleeper but when I need it I want to light up the back tire. Can anyone direct me to what I should do here or where I can go or a link. If someone has something like this already I really would be intrested. Im mechanically inclined so bolt ons are not a problem. Thanks for your help. looking forward to more HP.

There are several different ones out there to choose from.

Most of us have the Trask.

Very easy setup.

5g's... 45-55 hp on top of stock

The only Super charger out ther worth having is the one from Richard. (HORSEPOWER)
Oh he decided to put them on hold for the v-rod to work on M-109's

Did I just type that?

He is not making them right now.
I was all set to buy one and put on my 06 and nothing out of him in months.

Bring the bike down from Ontario for a weekend at RSC's. Two days of wrenching, and you'll be on your way!

(See how I volunteered you, Rod?) ;)

Sure. I'll throw lunch on the grill. I'll even take video and pictures. I could even turn a wrench or two. But we're not taking the motor out of the frame just because we can......not this time.....LOL.

Wait a minute!

How miles on this 03?

We might have to do a valve lash.

Turbo Installs are fun. Easy as pie. I don't have a shop. But I do sell the DGD-KIM that you want to consider with this turbo install on a 2003.

I don't think you will be disapointed with turbo, If you need more power its easy to increase boost but you play you will pay. I got bit playing with boost on stock motor and truth is I still havent learned my lesson :)
