2003 VRSCA and 2005 VRSCB
I really need these bikes out of my garage!!!
I have two bikes for sale. First is a 2003 VRSCA with 3,245 miles on it. Many upgrades (wheels, tires, chrome, etc.). This bike has a salvage title from an electrical fire that happened on the first ride of the year. The GEICO rep that came out said it's the only vehicle he has ever been able to write up as "exceptional" condition for the claim. It was and still is a beautiful bike with extremely low mileage, but it's going to need someone to go through and remediate the fire damage. The bike was on fire for less than three minutes when a guy in a truck stopped with an extinguisher and put it out. Pretty sure the TMax ECU was damaged, but I have the original, as well.
Also, I have a 2005 VRSCB that I bought to putt around on while I was in FL. The bike sat out for a bit with the previous owner so it has some surface rust on the chrome and bolt heads. It has 12,287 miles and runs fine. Could use some attention to the brakes and fork seals. Youtube video below with it running.
After the fire, my plan was to strip the 05, pull most everything off the 03, punch the '03 out to 1434cc, have all the silver engine parts and tins painted black, and have a badass black and chrome VRod. Not enough time in the day and too many projects.
Looking for $6,500 OBRO. Would also consider swapping for an 04-06 Jeep Wrangler TJU (LJ) in good shape.
