Would there be any benifit to lowering a set of the "sport" shocks and trying them on a V-Rod ?Think they will fit ?
They are the ones with the reservoir in back for "cooling"and extra fluid(I think). :hmm:
Just an idea..........

Worth a try. Anything that adds to the damping (and would look cool too) can't be bad. What's the extended length of those shocks? If they are 13" then just bolt them up ;)

If you do this with Sportster shocks, be sure to cross reference the spring rating, as they are different. I was trying to do this with Progressive 440s from my Sportster to the V-Rod, and called Porgressive. Was told the the spring rating is different, and I stopped there. Might as well buy whats available.
