Would there be any benifit to lowering a set of the "sport" shocks and trying them on a V-Rod ?Think they will fit ?
They are the ones with the reservoir in back for "cooling"and extra fluid(I think). :hmm:

Worth a try. Anything that adds to the damping (and would look cool too) can't be bad. What's the extended length of those shocks? If they are 13" then just bolt them up

We can cut your stock shocks down to 11 7/8" if interested.

If you do this with Sportster shocks, be sure to cross reference the spring rating, as they are different. I was trying to do this with Progressive 440s from my Sportster to the V-Rod, and called Porgressive. Was told the the spring rating is different, and I stopped there. Might as well buy whats available.
