Hello everyone.
I have a vrod 2014 and I want to put the STAGE II KIT (30076-09) + BIG BORE THROTTLE BODY KIT (27670-05) + PERFORMANCE INJECTOR KIT (27791-05), but I am in doubt on the exhaust. I live in Toronto/CA and here it is not possible to find 2-1VH and the second option would be akrapovic. The akrapovic by is more suitable for medium rpm. With these parts would akrapovic be a good choice? or should I choose other cams?

What do you guys tell me about STAGE II?

And anyone can tell me if 2-1VH is still being made?

Thank everyone. :notworth:

If you want more cam, go with Jones, not the SE parts. You don’t need bigger injectors unless you go forced induction or all out drag race. The 58 mm TB is not a good fit unless you are all out racing & need nothing but top end power. I would only use a 2 into 1 system, talk to Fitzgerald.
I have the SE S2 cams on a '15 muscle. IMO, throttle body and injectors are not necessary. The bike runs like a raped ape. I run "topless" and have the HD high flow air cleaner. And V&H slip ons.
HD uses standard cams with more lift. The way they accomplish this is by reducing the base circle. There are those who will say that the reduced base circle adds more stress on valve train, which is most likely true. The Jones cams (they have a variety of grinds that are VERY application specific) and i believe they truly are a better cam. HOWEVER, they only make in small batches, and are VERY hard to get, and cost considerably more.
If you are not drag racing frequently, or need to get every ounce of power from your machine, the S2's will be just fine.
In my experience, which is a long and boring story, the seceret to ANY upgrade is in the tune. It is difficult to tune a V. There are those who say that the stock ECM is trash. I STRONGLY disagree, unless you are gonna do forced induction (and the stock ECM will work for that too) youll not need to upgrade that. When i put in my S2's i took it to a professional tuner. He effed it up, tune wise bigtime. I ended up finding a very knowledgeable and kind guy here, who helped me tune myself. Street tune. I learned more than i EVER wanted to know about that, and it is NOT an easy process, but now i am VERY happy with the results.
I wish you luck, and ask ALOT of questions.

I have been look for the vance and hines 2 in to 1 exhaust to seems there all on back order till February
I just had all that done to my bike a 2014 muscle before Thanksgiving with the se cams big bore throttle body and destroyer injector and the se tuner dealer is turning it for me i have a motohooligan air box on it already just waiting on the exhaust i mite go with the danmoto highwayman exhaust if Vance and Hines doesn't hurry up

your guy who tuned your bike is up in Vancouver B.C. right? if so is he still around?
I am not at liberty to share his info. However I will ask him to contact you. He is from the Niagara Falls region.

Russel at Lonewolf Performance is still in the tuning business on the west coast.

Sometimes it's better to drive a distance for one good tune then 2-3 not so good local tunes. Russel is one I'd trust. Tell him Ron sent you, not that it will do any good, other then he will know I'm watching. LOL

hey i just got to thinking, why not go with a dan moto? They are very inexpensive and prety much a direst copy of a vance and hines. I used a dan moto slip on on my ducati diavel and really like it

If you mention me, it can end up two ways. You get a great tune as he know's I'm watching or get told to fk off when you walk through the door. LOL. He is a good tuner and takes pride in his work. I wish more of these other hacks did. TTS is his main, but tunes with all of them. The ones that area strictly TTS and boo hiss at the others, I'd ovoid as that to me points to some form of narrow mindedness toward tuning in general.

I'll mention you and take my chances... lol. and I guess im in luck because that's what I just bought, a TTS.
Roddy, in my opinion, a really good choice. Good luck.

At least he will WB the areas TTS can't get with the MT7 cals. It's a shame Steve Cole never updated the cals to MT8 at least that have EGR tables and IVO settings. MT7 is so limited for a DIY for best results.
