Need some advice on a 10K oil change. I'm thinking of using MobileOne 20w50 but with winter coming on, is this too thick or should I use 10w40 instead?
Also, how much oil do I need to buy?
Which is better, Amsoil; MobileOne; Royal Purple; Castrol?

Also, really dumb question, but which plugs should I buy for the tune up and how hard are they to replace (along with how many are needed)?

Anyone got any links to videos for these services for an '05?

Thanks,

Stan

Amsoil or Mobil 1, whatever is easier to get, no Royal Purple for long term street use, not familiar with Castrol offerings. I run 20W50 Mobil 1 V Twin oil year round. We don't get cold enough in south Texas to worry about thinner oil IMO.

assuming your TX winter is nowhere near as cold as the Northeast winters, you'll be fine with either oil in OE weight.
2 spark plugs, stock are fine NGK are better, and the front plug is time consuming pain in the ass to replace. Not difficult, just time consuming due to needing to remove the airbox
