Title sums it up. I have noticed this on my new-to-me '09 AW. Imagine the dry-clutch ringing noise a Ducati makes and that's pretty close to the sound I get when I'm at an idle and shift into or out of first gear. It only lasts for one "ring" but I'm wondering if something may be loose somewhere. But before I start taking engine covers off I figure I'd throw it out the the forum to see if anyone else may know what it's from.

Thanks.

You guys are a lot of help. Thanks.

Not the exhaust shields. Whatever it is seems to be connected to the clutch or transmission.
