Figured since the swing arm has to come off I would just replace everything in the swing arm and both motor mounts in the rear or should I replace the front motor mounts also thanks any help is greatly appreciated

So both rear motor mounts are the same and I should go ahead and replace the front motor mount also and I believe I am missing one bearing or bushing for the swing arm is that all correct and for the slipper clutch I should not need anything just to clutch assembly correct
Hi Buddy77.
There is a lot of work involved in the job you mention. First: a shop manual is recommended, preferably an original H-D, as well as a torque wrench. The swing must come off in connection with changing the motor mounts and the engine must (almost) come out of the frame when changing the mounts. A scissor jack under the oil pan is recommended. The job can be done without opening the cooling system.

For the clutch you need a gasket cover: HD 25891-01K.

I have that part please look at pic what else do I need and both motor mounts r same part # right
Both mounts are the same and two are required ...... sold individually
Like Knut said ..... shop manual a must have as well as torque wrench..... new cover gasket unless you are brave .....
Not sure if this will work on the 07 bike, depending on wide frame or not. I haven't checked the frames. This did work on my 13 DX without pulling the engine. The mount just slips in with no room to spare. I needed a hair more push at the back of the engine to shift it over far enough but it worked. Leave front mount attached until rears are in to give you that swing effect. A SM and a scissor jack are a must. Two scissor jacks even better for that swing arm alignment to engine rear hole. Blocks of wood and one scissor will work too.

All right thank you very much and as far as the bearings bushings and spacers for the swing arm other than what I have in the pictures what else will I need and I have everything but the manual just got a new lift in your opinion should I go ahead and replace the front mount while I have everything tore off it looks good though

Thanks very much 🤙
So I have the swing arm off and left side motor mount should I try to wiggle the motor to the right to get it out with everything in front in place or should I take the front motor mount off and leave the linkage attached or what is next kind of stuck at the moment
