Guys -

Thinking about sending out the wheels to get machine cut, but I'm not sure
whether to chrome or not.

Saw a picture of one of the vendors work and there were some unfinished edges
that showed up when chromed.

Is the cutting a smooth, even cut?

I'm thinking about using Gorby's Machine for the cutting, btw.

Thanks!

Gdub - Thanks, sounds like a plan. I guess at worst, I could have the wheel cut, check it once I get it back, then have it chromed at a later date.

Got the front wheel back today. Very happy with Gorby's service, and they were quick They turned the wheel around in a day. Going to polish it out for now. Maybe chrome it at a later date.....

Javsst, please post a diagonal picture, I'm wondering if the wheel is 'solid' along the cuts.

Love Gorby's work but thinking of getting chrome or possibly black powdercoated - I am about sick of polishing mine, it was actually easier to polish as a big solid wheel...

Thanks, I did wonder about the "solidness" of the wheels. You never know with modern methods. I do like the skull cut on their web site. I do have a pair of solid wheels......

Thumbs, polish then powder coat clear, black will be tough to keep clean.
