At that price you could buy two of them for the price of a V-Rod. Think of all the customizing you could do with two of them.

There is a dealer in Lakeland Fla, about 55 miles from my house. As soon as we get good weather down here (It is supposed to rain like a mother for the next few days), I will take a drive down there and maybe take some good pictures.
The few things complained about in this thread are the same things you all have modded on the V. Fenders, motors, headlights, swing arm, etc.:spank: :chair: :moped:

On my recent trip to Incheon and Seoul last month I saw quite a few of these as well as their other models. I prefered the other models but this model looks better in R/T than it does in the photos. Still not what I woud call a pretty bike and kind cheap looking with so many platic parts, like the suzuki 109 as an example. They did appear to attempt to copy some features of the V rod as well as other models.

My neighbor is a distributor for them and said just like other bikes they sell under MSRP and these were availble for about 5 grand and comes with a 2 year warranty. He also confirmed this is the company that makes the motors for the Suzuki V strom (The only Zook I would consider owning) My understanding its the same motor used in all Hyosung 650 offerings.

I'll take 2. 1 to crap on & 1 to cover it up with.

As my father used to say, "I'll take 2,...... one for each foot!"

Hell I don't think it looks like a V Rod, but it does look like a lot of people may be buying it. I work with a lot of guys that like to ride, not all of them can afford an HD I believe there are merits to just about all motorcycles. So if they sell a lot of these maybe there will be fewer cagers trying to ruin our day?

Good god there is a slight resemblance, the moco legal department is gonna have to get busy on this one!!

No Clone

Imo, it can't be a clone because it still has a japanese style sub-frame. One thing that attracted me to the V-Rod was the fact that the main frame didn't just run down to the swingarm and then have a sub-frame as a almost after thought. I would think if they were trying to clone it they could have done a better job..........

Of course it's no V-rod, but for 5K........people will buy it and love it. And if it gets it in their blood it's a good thing.

You are right raebear, as long as it gets wind in their hair and a smile on their face........... and they don't put V-Rod stickers on it....... it's all good.

I agree with LSX.........

I have seen the Koreans copy american made things and let me tell you if they tried to copy it it would look identical!

Has anyone ridden one or even seen one up close? It might be a good first bike for somebody on a budget. At 15 years old my first bike was a Honda 90.There no such thing as an ugly motorcycle.
Just like there's no such thing as ugly women after 2am!
