I'm getting ready to move this summer and thought I would just throw this out there. Anyone want to get together for a ride around 5 June? I'm thinking the further out there the date the more participants we can get. Does anyone know of an organized ride scheduled for that time? We could meet anywhere, favorite HD dealership, shop, biker friendly establishment, or major landmark. I wish the KC HD Factory was open on the weekends. I'll definately be making one last trip there on 4 June.

On 6 June I'm going down to Cassoday KS for the 1st Sunday of the month breakfast and bike show. Will be traveling with some FL riders so we won't be breaking any speed records.

Oh yeah, saw a VRSCA with red skins heading west on K-10 out of Lawrence around 6pm today. Anyone???

vroom, which day will you be gone? 22 MAY or 6 JUN. The wedding on 22 May isn't until 6 so I think I could make that morning ride. I'll be in the dog house for letting my wife get the kids ready by herself but she'll get over it.

june 4,5,6,7
sorry about the
could probably make the 22nd, have to find a sitter for the kids, my wife always comes with me. :)

Let's get together for the 100 mile ride on the 22 MAY. Registation starts at 9, first bike out at 10:30, and last dice roll at 2pm. If interested we could meet somewhere for breakfast, get some gas, and roll into the dealership together. If someone more familiar with the area could recommend a location. Or we could just meet at the dealership. Small parking lot from what I remember.

Looking forward to meeting everybody.

Hey, the boss lady said I might be able to come out and play. :thumb: Where is everyone located? Maybe we could find a neutral location for breakfast. I live in Olathe and I know vroom does too and Dereck is in Lawerence. Everyone else??

I'm open to pretty much anywhere, but not a very good morning person, so I might be late, but I'll try.

Can someone recommend somewhere in Grandview, Leawood, Overland Park, or off Bannister in KC? Get there in time for a big breakfast if you want or just in time for us all leave to together. Leave from there, stop for gas, and should probably arrive at Gail's HD no later than 1000. Or we can arrive when ever and just meet up at the end point.

there's a Denny's at 105th and Metcalf--- just a block or 2 north of I-435 and Metcalf in south overland park. 435 would be the quickest route to gails.

i just remembered we need helmets for this because it is in Missouri--i'm going to have to get some. :yak: :banghead:

As far as fuel goes, there's a Quick Trip at 155th and 71 Hwy (Gails HD exit) so we could refuel just before getting to Gail's. I know the Kansas Machine Shed at 119th and I35 does a good breakfast but I'm not to familiar with what's over near Bannister or in the Grandview area. It doesn't matter to me whether we chow or not but I would like to meet up and shoot the $hit before heading for the ride.

The Denny's at Metcaff (exit 79 off I-435) and 105th is closer and probably a little quicker than the Machine Shed. Although the Machine Shed is a great place.

Let's meet at this Denny's around 9ish if you just want to BS, earlier depending on how much you want to eat. Fuel up at the QT would be perfect before the 100 mile ride. Hope they take payment at the pump.

I'm not sure what kind of crowd to expect. If we want to push the time back that's cool. If we show up late and give them money, I'm sure they'll still let us ride.

Really looking forward to it.

machine shed is REALLY good, agreed, I'm open to anything....
if it's dennys, then ok, if it's machine shed, ok. I only live about 3 miles from machine shed--just say the place, I'm in.
9 am is ok, 8:30 would probably be better, if the restaraunt is busy or the traffic is bad, that would give us a few extra minutes...

Ride Night

Also, If anyone will be out ride night is again tomorrow Wed 5/19. The Other Place off of 83 and Metcalf be be hoppin around 7-7:30 and The Longbranch in Lenexa off of 87th and I-35 after that...Frankie D's is off of K-32 and Kansas Ave, they start early and end late into the night.

Sounds like Denny's it is. I still have executive approval so I'm gonna try and be there around 8:30. Registration begins at 9:00 and the first rider out is at 10:30. Gails is about 15 to 20 minutes from Denny's depending on traffic. Got a graduation party thing to got to in the early afternoon but if we run long, I'll head there from Wayside Waifs.

Dereck, I don't think I've been to a quick trip that didn't take payment at the pump (You watch, this one will make me a liar).

vroom, did you get my voice mail on your mobile phone? I think I saw you and the wife crusin down Sante Fe on the East side Sunday afternoon. Was was wondering if that was you and tried to give you a call.

we should be there at 8:30 or so--

yes, I thought I saw another vrod the other day-- :ride: I didn't get any voicemail though, scratch that, I just checked it, and it was there, but no icon on the phone, aahhhhh, the wonders of technology:lamer: I can't hear or feel that thing ring while we are riding (open supertrapp is too loud for that)(but sounds really kick a$$)-- sorry we did't hook up, but there's always this saturday-- I don't know if we'll make it to bike night for the rest of the month, but we should be at gail's--see ya there!
