Can either one of you give a actual weather forcast for the local area. wana know what to be prepare for on the ride up. Wiil it be hot,cold,possible rain,..etc? THX

This morning it was about 26 degrees in Truckee..... lol that was about 630am.
At 9am it was about 45-50. This is the coldest part you will encounter going over the pass if you are coming from Cali.

weather in Reno is expected to be a low of 35 and high of 75 degrees...... bring your warm clothes. :) :) :)

It's going to be cooler than normal (70's). Down right cold in the AM (40s). No rain. Some of the poker runs will head much higher in elevation so keep that in mind. Here is the weather forcast I use. Not that it's always accurate. If you have heated gear, bring it.

Hey, anyone leaving on Thurs? We will be in Napa about 11:00am 2 V-Rods & another bike. Actually we will be at DMV to get tags for one of the bikes.
So if anyone is planing on going at that time let us know.

Ted & Connie, We are so looking foward to seeing you guys again. I read where Ted had said that you had everything under control, but is there anything you need for us to bring. I will be more than happy to help when we get there also. How fun!

Leaving Sacramento/Roseville Friday morning, between 11 and noon. We're staying in Carson City, but plan to ride 80 through Reno. I'm not crazy about the I80 washboard: I'd ride up 50, but I prefer 80's center divider to the crazy downhill traffic on 50. We're staying with a group from the Santa Cruz area at the Pinon Plaza in Carson City. See ya there!

For those of you going up Hwy 88, it gets real cold by Silver Lake (a little before Kirkwood). Make sure you carry some warm stuff. Have a great ride, wish I could join you...

Steve, if you don't mind a longer ride through the mountains we are meeting in Jackson aroung 12:15 PM and going up 88 to 395.........According to Reese we will have about 7-10 bikes going up at this time. :moped:

Well guys, I'm excited about the ride tomorrow!
Monte(aschem), I was wondering if you were healed enough to join us?
Stockton around 11:00 at In n Out Burger on March Ln.&I5.
Jackson around 12:00 at the gas station where 88 turns to go up the hill.
Reno around 4:30-5:00
Head to the BBQ!!!!!

Ready to roll from Sacto. See you guys in Jackson.....I will be 2 up with my better half on a Pearl Yellow/Platinum SE2 and not sure what my buddy has????? Looks like we will have some wind to deal with!!!!

Reese, I'll be there with my wife Joann on the back. We are coming from San Mateo.
A freind who's name is Mark is showing up at the IN & Out on a low rider air head. He is out of Lafayette so we are meeting in Stockton.
Hawkstand, cool, another "R" I don't think I've even seen another one up close!!
Really looking forward to it guys!
