Dang, look at all these new guys! ? maybe 20 in the last two days. Well, me too! Actually, I've been lurking around here for a couple of months, but decided I should say Hi! and introduce myself. Big "THANKS" to the forum - reading & checking out galleries here has been a huge help in deciding to get a V-Rod and especially how to mod it.
Two days ago I picked up my 2007 VRSCAW, Vivid Black with Vance & Hines Powershots. Its actually been about 10 years since I've ridden, so I'm gonna go take the rider safety course next weekend - but damn! its hard to not ride that thing!!!
Here are some mod's that I've got on order and should be here next week:
- Legend Air Ride System (group buy from here - thanks to Richard_P_Harve for setting that up!)
- Breathless Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Fender
- Breathless Performance F4 Air Box Cover for Internal Gauges
- Breathless Performance License Plate Relocation Kit
I'm still looking for the right handle bar and trying to decide on a paint scheme...
Anyone have any recommendations for *mandatory* new bike mods?
FYI, I'm in Longview, TX. I think there are a couple of other forum members in the area - looking forward to meeting y'all.
