I receive my new Climax Cycle Control System Handle Bars today. MAN what a quality product. I purchased them as part of my rebuild. They are the Stealth model. I ordered them with a Dakota Digital water temperature gage in the center. As you know I am going with the stock gages in the airbox cover.
Same hand location as the stock bars with NO visable cables or NO visable reservoirs.

Climax

Frank they are great, let me know how tough the install is. I am thinking of using Climax on my Walz bike build. Will you have them on your bike by Daytona? I would like to meet up with you and check them out. We can exchange cell phone numbers and meet.

eurorod,

It is unfortunately looking like my rebuild will not be ready for Bike Week. I am getting the frame and many other parts liquid chromed from Ozzy and he has a back order on the chemicals needed to complete the liquid chroming  Never the less I will be there to meet as many of our forum members as possible. :D Plus, I have decided to do a COMPLETE rebuild, including the new Storz front end, new wheels, tires, chain drive, rotors, front fender, side louvers, airbox, rear fender, head light, tail light turn signals, seat, handle bars, exhaust, and many other Items. The only thing that will be stock is the motor. and the frame (liquid chromed) I look forward to meeting all that will be in Daytona  I will be there in a V not on a V. That is I will be driving my wifes 245 HP, 156 mph hopped up VW Beetle Turbo-S.

Most Respectfully
Frank

Frank,
your gonna have quit the looker on your hands my friend!

Say Frank, I have a few questions please... How much? What type of wire connectors are you going to use? I would guess it would need to be done with some type of small bullet connectors, or try to purchase the stock ones from Harley so you can retain as many of the stock plugs as possible. If that is an option, I haven't looked into the project enough to figure out options as of yet!!

i too am gettin a set of climax controlls for my vrod the same as in the lazy boyz photo in the gallery at climaxcycle.com with the rizoma kit, plus headlight,,,,, let me know how you like them.
thanks
casey

Frank,

I have a couple of shots of the CLIMAX bars on some V-Rods here, and they are really a sweet set-up. Then I heard what they run....was a shock. But after looking at how they are made, and how the master-cylinders are incorporated into the bars with switches and throttle cables, I realize why these cost what they do.

It would be easy to be able to put in performance products and after-market goodies what the bike cost new, and still not be done!!
