does anyone know how or what i could use to remove coolant stains from my pipe and clutch side cover? ive tried a buch of different chemicals with no luck. any ideas would be great

If you can try a compound on the bottom of the pipe to see what the finish looks like after a try, I'd use DuPon white compound. it has a very light grit in it. Keep in mind if you have a "satin" or non-gloss look, it could leave a shiny black surface to it.

One thing I have tried in the past to re-create a satin look after using a polishing compound to remove a stain is to use super fine sandpaper like triple ought.

Wrap the pipe with it, and use a rubber mallet with very light blows to re-create a fine, fine satin look. Don't smack it too hard, otherwise you might go too far witht he look you want or worse, dent the pipe. All you are trying to do is to get the gloss on the surface to lay low.

A little "testing" might give a desired look you want, but best to do it out of sight at th ebottom of the pipe.
