My wife bought me a night rod for Christmas! I have the coolest wife around!!!! My first v-rod, man I did not know what I was missing. This bike is amazing! Clutch lever is a little tough though. Time to get out and ride and build up that left arm. Anything I should know about my new ride guys?!

There's a ton of stuff you should know about your new DX and if you just read 1130cc.com abt 10hrs/day you'll soon figure out what it is. :D

The Service and Parts Manuals will save you a lot of anguish and and hand-wringing and are the best "mods" a new owner can make.

The Classified's here can cave you a lot of scratch on those other kinds of mods.

Google Search (not the 1130cc.com Search function) will turn up answers to just about any question that comes to mind.

Welcome, man you are a lucky....
If you are a DIY kind of guy then pick up the service manual for your bike, IMO it is the best money you will ever spend on it.
Plenty of great info on here too, but be careful hanging around here is tough on your wallet.

Welcome, and enjoy the ride!

Research vrod "slipper clutch"...thank me later, your welcome.

Welcome...use the "search" function, second line, top right corner of this page...

Since you've an aftermarket exhaust, you must have a "race tuner " under the seat....check it out.

Do you have a 1130cc or 1250cc engine? are there oxygen sensors on the headers?
